How Do I Sign Up as a Preferred Customer for a Leading Synthetic Oil Brand?

If you’ve been looking at premium synthetic oil and wondering how to sign up as a Preferred Customer, the process is usually simple. The more important question is whether that option is actually the right fit for you.

I’m Ken Smith, a certified AMSOIL independent dealer, and I help people make that decision every day.

A lot of people first come to me because they want better oil for their car, truck, motorcycle, diesel, ATV, UTV, snowmobile, or work equipment. They are not necessarily looking for a business opportunity. They just want better protection, better performance, and better pricing for products they know they’re going to use.

That is where the Preferred Customer option makes sense.

In plain language, a Preferred Customer is someone who uses the products for themselves. They want access to premium synthetic lubricants and wholesale-level pricing, but they are not trying to build a dealer business.

The sign-up process is usually straightforward:

You create your account, choose the Preferred Customer option, and then you can begin ordering products based on your vehicle and application needs.

What I tell people is that the signup itself is not the hard part. The real value comes after that.

A random signup page may get you an account, but it usually does not help you understand what products are right for your engine, how to navigate the catalog, what to order first, or how to make sure your account is set up the right way.

That is one reason people choose to work with me.

When someone signs up through me, I do more than just send them a link. I help them:

choose the right products for their vehicles or equipment, understand the AMSOIL catalog, set up their account correctly, and get answers when they have questions about maintenance, intervals, or applications.

That matters because premium oil only helps if you are using the right product for the right application.

My opinion is simple: if you are serious about protecting your engine and you plan to keep using quality lubricants, becoming a Preferred Customer is often one of the easiest and smartest ways to get started.
