CleanEngine Personal Introduction
My name is Ken Smith and I am the Owner & Founder of CleanEngine. I was raised in Daytona Beach and always fascinated by NASCAR, motorcycle racing and everything boating. With a Civil Engineering degree from Auburn, I worked in construction in the Middle East / Africa and learned to appreciate the importance of proper lubrication in the extreme heat and humidity to improve reliability of the construction equipment.
I spent 27 years in the US Navy Reserve Civil Engineer Corps and was recalled to active duty and deployed to Guam and Okinawa in 1991, and Iraq in 2008. I learned how superior lubricants are critical to the efficient and effective operational readiness of all equipment - both tactical military and construction/support vehicles.
While living in Vermont, the extreme cold necessitated superior lubrication as the highest frictional resistance (wear) occurs during engine start-up. After researching the many lubricants available to consumers, I discovered AMSOIL had the best and most extensive product line on the market. I started my CleanEngine dealership in 2004 throughout the US and Canada!
I have owned trucks, automobiles (still have my first – a 1967 Firebird, which is now a street rod), boats (2-cyle outboards and both gasoline and diesel inboards), snow blowers and lawnmowers - all of which have performed flawlessly with AMSOIL lubricants.
From my personal testimony and those of my customers, I assure you CleanEngine will give you the best customer service possible. Please browse our website and compare AMSOIL to the leading competition. Our existing customers know (and our new certainly will) that there is no better product on the market.
I will personally help you select your products as needed and encourage you to use them in your personal and / or fleet of vehicles to extend oil drain intervals, improve fuel mileage, extend your engine life, save money – and the environment. AMSOIL accomplishes this by keeping your engine clean of the residual from conventional motor oil. Repair shops and auto parts stores all benefit from showing the range of AMSOIL products to their customers. The most discerning will want the best protection for their equipment. If they ask you how much it is a quart, AMSOIL is probably not the product for them. You get what you pay for. And paying $15 a quart and $15 for a filter to protect a $3,000 to $10,000 engine to keep it running soundly at top efficiency is a very good investment.
I encourage you to browse my website, do your research, and either order directly from AMSOIL, or give me a call and I can answer your questions and / or place the order for you. Some of you will consider becoming a certified dealer yourself, and I will be happy to assist and sponsor you as you start-up your own independent AMSOIL business.
Thank you …
